Open since May, 1998, Deer Run newest gem is a par 70 championship golf course. This routing offers the golfer a championship golf experience coupled with a speedy pace of play. The new course is designed by the "Whole in One Design" company (designers of the Easton Club and Cambridge Country Club golf courses), and challenges golfers with varied lengths ranging from 110 yds to 595 yds. Accuracy is at a premium for this layout, and the green sizes are huge, requiring correct club selection into the well bunkered greens. Featured holes on the championship 18 include four par 5's each well over 500 yds. Add several long par 4's and par 3's ranging up to 205 yds. and you have a true test of golf. Deer Run's signature hole is No. 12 which is an island green. Six multi-acre lakes make this a beautiful golfers paradise. There truly is nothing like it on the eastern shore!
